SDS & Compliance Disclaimer

1. Nature of the data

Chemfused aggregates chemical property data — including identifiers (CAS numbers, IUPAC names, molecular formulae), physical and chemical properties, GHS hazard classifications, and safety summaries — from the PubChem public database. This data is periodically synchronised and cached; it may not reflect the most current regulatory classifications, revisions to GHS classification, or country-specific restrictions.

Supplier-submitted product listings, including descriptions, grades, purity specifications, and pricing, are provided by and the responsibility of the individual supplier. Chemfused does not independently verify supplier-submitted information.

2. Chemfused is not the seller of record

Chemfused Ltd does not manufacture, blend, repackage, import, export, store, or sell any chemical substances. All transactions for chemical goods are entered into directly between the buyer and the relevant supplier. Chemfused is not party to any such transaction and assumes no responsibility for the performance, quality, regulatory status, or safe delivery of any chemical purchased via a supplier found through the platform.

3. Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

An SDS (formerly MSDS) is a legally required document that provides comprehensive information about a substance's hazards, safe handling procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, first aid measures, storage conditions, and disposal guidance. An SDS must be:

• prepared and maintained by the substance's manufacturer, importer, or downstream user in accordance with applicable regulations (REACH/CLP in Great Britain and the EU; OSHA HazCom in the USA; relevant national regulations elsewhere);
• provided to professional users before or at the time of first supply;
• updated whenever significant new information about hazards or risk-management measures becomes available.

You must obtain a current SDS directly from your supplier before handling any hazardous chemical. Safety summaries and hazard classifications shown on Chemfused are derived from PubChem's database and are not a substitute for a supplier-issued SDS. They may be incomplete, out of date, or inapplicable to the specific grade, concentration, or formulation you are purchasing.

4. Regulatory and transport compliance

The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that:

• the import, export, possession, use, and disposal of any chemical complies with all applicable laws in the buyer's and supplier's jurisdictions;
• appropriate licences, permits, registrations, and authorisations are held before placing an order;
• chemicals are transported in compliance with applicable regulations (ADR, IATA DGR, IMDG Code, or equivalent national regulations);
• end-use restrictions, sanctions, and export-control obligations are observed.

Chemfused does not provide compliance advice. If in doubt, consult a qualified regulatory affairs specialist or legal adviser.

5. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chemfused Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in relation to the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for purpose of any chemical data displayed on the platform. Use of the data is entirely at the user's own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

Chemfused Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, environmental harm, regulatory penalty, or other consequence arising from reliance on chemical data displayed on Chemfused, whether the data originates from PubChem, a supplier listing, or any other source.

7. Reporting errors

If you identify an error in chemical data displayed on Chemfused, please notify us at [email protected] and we will investigate promptly. Corrections to PubChem data should also be reported directly to the PubChem team.
