- We can't promise placement in any specific AI answer — no platform can honestly make that claim. What we can promise is that your data is published in the structured, crawlable format that AI systems are trained to read. Well-structured data in a high-authority directory is the single biggest lever you have.
- How is this different from listing on other chemical directories?
- Most chemical directories were built for the pre-AI web. They rely on keyword SEO and paid placements. Chemfused is built CAS-first, with schema markup and AI-crawlable structure on every page. It's a different foundation for a different kind of search.
- What's the difference between the three plans?
- Standard is for suppliers operating in one country. Multi-Country lets you list across multiple regions with localized pricing and pack sizes. Max Plan adds two things on top: your listings appear in a Preferred Suppliers section at the top of every CAS page, and you're automatically included as a recipient whenever a buyer submits an enquiry for a product you list.
- How does Preferred Supplier placement work?
- On every CAS hub page, suppliers are displayed in two sections: Preferred Suppliers at the top (Max Plan only) and All Suppliers below. Within each section, listings are ordered by founding supplier status, response rate, and completeness of listing data. Max Plan suppliers also receive every matching enquiry automatically, without the buyer needing to tick their name.
- What happens to my listings if I cancel?
- Your listings stay live through the end of your paid period, then come down. Your account data is retained for 90 days in case you return.
- Can I import my existing product catalog?
- Yes — paste your product URLs and our importer extracts specs and pricing for you to review before anything goes live. You confirm what gets published.
- Is there a long-term contract?
- No. It's annual billing after your free trial. Cancel anytime from your dashboard.
